Plastisol printing

Plastisol printing is a screen printing technique in which a special type of ink called plastisol ink is printed onto a substrate. This ink is a PVC-based compound that melts and hardens when heated to create a permanent bond with the textile or material.

The printing process begins with the design being printed on a stencil, which is then placed on polyester sheets. The ink is then printed through a fine screen onto this material and then cured. To create additional color depth, several layers of color can be printed on top of each other. The printed motif is then transferred to the textile using a hot press.

Plastisol printing is a versatile printing process and is often used for printing T-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, caps and other items of clothing.
This technique is ideal for printing design elements with high detail or full-color designs.
