Screen flock

Printing process

Screen flock

Screen flock on textiles are small fibers that are applied to the fabric using a screen printing process. A special adhesive layer is applied to the textile and the fibers are then attracted to the fabric using electrical tension. This creates a three-dimensional structure that is soft to the touch and has a velvety surface. Screen flocking processes are mainly used in the production of sports and leisure wear, but also for home textiles.
