Embroidery

Textile embroidery is a process in which patterns, logos or lettering are embroidered onto textiles using special machines. The embroidery is usually done on T-shirts, shirts, jackets, caps, bags or other items of clothing.

In textile embroidery, the corresponding motif is first digitized, i.e. converted into an embroidery file. The textile is then clamped in an embroidery frame and the embroidery process begins. The embroidery thread is fed through a needle, which embroiders the pattern or lettering onto the textile.

There are various embroidery techniques, such as cross stitch, satin stitch or loop stitch, which are used depending on the motif and the desired effect. Special threads or yarns can also be used for particularly intricate or elaborate embroidery to create a special result.

Textile embroidery is mainly used for finishing workwear. Embroidery allows textiles to be individualized and given a personalized design.
